Structural design for the construction of a 1,500 V traction power substation (SNCF Réseau)

  • Design of structural solutions for a group of technical buildings forming part of the Bois-le-Roi 1,500 V traction power substation, including the transformer building, electrical rooms and technical rooms.
  • Structural analysis and design of reinforced-concrete structures, taking into account the high reliability and safety requirements of critical railway infrastructure, vibration effects induced by railway traffic, and loads from electromechanical equipment.
  • Technical coordination with the traction power, electrical, HVAC and civil engineering disciplines to ensure proper equipment integration and provision of structural openings/reservations. All design studies were carried out entirely within a BIM environment.
